I'm making a quick guide for everyone on the server about how to achieve the use of and how to use the uav's and airstrikes.
Let's start with how to get them. To be allowed to use either of these you must achieve a set amount of kills.
UAV: 3 kills
Airstrike: 5 kills
Once you have achieved the set amount of kills you may type the commands at the bottom of this guide to use each one of these. Now once you have used a uav you must then get 3 more kills after that to get another uav. And yes you can get more than one uav or airstrike in one life. Same goes for airstrikes, as soon as you use an airstrike you must get 5 more kills after that use to get another airstrike.
Some of you may be wondering if the points stack. No they don't, it has to be consecutive kills. Also, even if you get 3 kills, and use a uav, you can still then carry on to get a 5 killstreak and achieve an airstrike. Basically, as long as you get a 3 killstreak for a UAV and a 5 killstreak for an Airstrike, you're set.
One more thing, there is a Counter UAV. Again the command will be listed at the bottom of this guide. Basically, all the Counter UAV does is cancel or "jams" the other team's UAV.
To control an Airstrike, use the command for the airstrike and it will land where your crosshairs are pointed. So be careful when you use the airstrike so as not to TK your teammates.
Commands:
UAV: type /uav
Counter UAV: type /counter
Airstrike: type /airstrike.
Now some of these are hard to pull off in the heat of battle, so I would suggest using binds.
bind i "say /uav"
bind o "say /counter"
bind p "say /airstrike"
I have not tried this yet, but you may be able to bind those without using the say command. It doesn't matter if it does or doesn't. Both teams get a radio call when either team calls a uav or an airstrike.
