whats with the rash of all the bans? ive seen at least 2 that the reason was "no, gtfo.".
and i under stand titan/mod shadow is a issue, but it seems like theres some ridiculous banning..
if all the servers had huge mounts of people that would be one thing but the fact is there just arnt as many players as there used to be.
need to work out attraction and not scare them off with tons of unnessicary bans..

    my $0.02.

I leave and come back to a buttload of bans. I am wondering the same thing. Why are people banning for stupid reasons such as being AFK on zombie? Also why dont you put the real reason the person was banned. I say unban everyone that was banned with the reason being stupid or not a good reason to be banned (being afk) We need to stop all this nonsense and start being real admins, not just people who get pissed and refer to banning.

the gtfo bans were because anon hates titan and one of them was titan and the other was because anon thought someone was titan

i should be banned according to these new admins who think they can do as they like because i afk alot

im glad ive never played bb often.. when i do i just dick around and make lol worthy bases.. "new admins" would perm me in a heartbeat.

i do kind of agree with anon, titan annoys me. was in anonymously and lets leabe it that he wasnt the epitamy of polite gamer society.

@jirk, you used to do shitloads of questionable kicks and bans, but you seemd to even out and your a decent admin these days bro =p

and who gives a rats ass about afking its not like zombies is that exciting.. and just kick.. no banhammer needed..

Well both those bans of No, gtfo are me banning titan. I know it was him both times.

Oh and btw titan, only reason you got unbanned was because tirant didnt know it was me who banned you. However, once I explained it was me who banned you, he told me I'm free to ban you now.

    I'll be watching Smile

And as far as banning people for perm for being afk in zombies Idk what is up with that. That should not be happening. I'll take a look at the ban list and see what I can find to clear out. I mean it's just common sense you don't perm ban for being afk as a zombie unless they do it purposely EVERY round because they hate playing zombie... then maybe a long timed ban but not perm. That's just ridiculous.

I only banned 1 person for afking as zombie. He done it 4rounds in a row + countless times when I'm not around. He was banned for 8 or 1weekish.

I can not say i have never banned some one for being afk but never more then a couple hours and after more warnings and kicks then i would give for anything else. If i see some one going afk all the time as zombie but always trying as ct then i think that deserves up to a 2 hour ban at most, depending on how often it happens.

I think best example is a dude named soulja boy. He would build his base defend it and as soon as he was a zombie he would afk. And he would do it over and over. well after a few short term bans he got the point a little better and does not afk as much.

If zombies are not trying then CT's are bored. So you have a server of people doing nothing. Who wants to be in a server that is boring with no one doing anything.

As far as the increase in bans i can take claim to many of them but that is due to a lot of new people coming through not knowing and or un willing to learn the rules. Part of why i was trying to push giving people credits for signing up on forums. more likely to read the rules once you get them to register on forums. Especially since this is the only palce that has a list of the rules.

Sometimes, my ban duration is high. This is something I should change. Also, J0p. If you ever check ban list and think my bans are excessive. Do change the duration for me. I understand it is wasting your time to change it, but.. Next time I check the duration. I'll apply the same format as you.

I've read what J0p and tidal had to say. I will change my ways. If I can not see past this issue and/or repeat this. I shall take actions upon myself.

My opinion: We should start giving people another chance. Un-ban people with bans that has no reason and/or silly reasons. That's a start, no?
