Hi if you dont already know me im |Hell-Fire|, always on the Base builder server. I bought admin about a month ago and ive been playing the server frequently eversince.

Anyways, what this topic is about ... I want ban privelages. I have put up with so many retards in the bb server. People who ruin bases, block spawn, etc. And they repeatedly do it over n over again to piss everyone off and me off, because they eventually figure out after i warn slap slay kick them that I can't ban. Also this cuts into my enjoyment and playing time, having to constantly take demos of these fools and kick them. Its my responsibilty right?

Sure, I know what ur thinking. Take a demo right? I take tons of demos. And its annoying already. I dont mind taking a demo to prove that they are breaking the rules consistently, but posting it to the forums through all the steps n shit is just annoying. I have been a good admin to the server and I help as much as possible.

If I was given ban privelages I could get rid of these fools who consistently break the rules and make your server Alot less enjoyable for all the other players.

I understand the steps in the ban process, I read jopapas post about educating and warning.

Warn
Slap
Slap
Slay
Kick
Ban 1 day, a week, etc.
Perm Ban

If you give me the privelage, I WILL RECORD DEMOS PRIOR TO BANNING! And I will post them to the forums.

And how do u show the steam id of players in the demos? Whenever i go to console and type status It dosent show in the demo which screws me over cause I cant show who the rule breaker is. Feedback please?

Please back me up guys, Jirk, Jopapa, Oil, Bear, Kaboom and whoever else.

i vouch for hell-fire to have ban privileges he's very responsible, fair, and always online. There is absolutely no reason to deny him this privilege. The two arguments I can think of are based on blind arrogance, and I'll wait to see them before I expound on their asininity.

It will help the server immensely.

well i thinks its been always a pchsop policy not to give people that are not from pcshop ban command but this one could be an exception cause he is a great admin, and btw hell for showing the steam id just take a screeshot.

If Rad is willing to stick up for you, I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Let him have the ban command, and we'll see how he treats his new responsibility as time goes on.

Well let me frist off say hes not like those other stupid admins we got rid of a few months ago

the second part of that is well he always goes under some really stupid but simple guessing names that i hate because its not just right lol if ur going to ban or spy on someone use a name similar or close to w/e ur name is lol

As for the third part i think everyone deserves a chance espically if they havent had any abuse reports on them for that hole month or so of members

Hellfire should be fine with ban privileges. He makes good calls in there and pushes the rules properly.

He does a good job enforcing. Still learning but knows most. He has learned alot. I also hope he will put in an application if he isnt already with a clan. I'd vouch for him.

If you doesnt get ban priv, My advice is to SS and demo, post here. In the meantime just keep kicking. Message me if im on. Im sure u got Jop@p@, RadSavage, and KaBoom on ur friendlist as-well so give them a hollar if u need to. KB is usually signed on so just message him with the SS and Demo and hope he will get it when he gets back.

when ur in the demo u have to be in console to see it. It shows at the exact time u typed it in the demo. Meaning if u waited 25 seconds to type it then it will show 25 seconds after you start the demo.

The only reports of him "abusing" were when he first got the powers and still didnt know one or two rules. He was talked to and knows. You are right, he isnt like the others we got rid of. He learns and enforces. If he does too much or makes a mistake all we need to do is to tell him and he will fix it.


But Hell you need to keep taking demos... just cuz u can ban them doesnt mean u dont need proof. I learned that cuz i banned someone and didnt have proof so they got unbanned. This leads me to the only reason i would say no. Ive seen you get upset and in that frustration I fear u might ban too many ppl. Kaboom knows what im talking about. You cant just ban. Besides that I think you would be fine with ban powers.

Just a tip, in case you do get them read what offenses are bannable. Learn them. Learn what would be just a kick, a slay, and so on. You need to know that cuz you should almost never have to result perm ban cuz b4 it, like u said, you have warnings, kicks, and i do 2 temp bans min.
