Give Players The Ability To Purchase Gold P90 and Gold AWP

Dave suggested it tonight and I thought it was a good idea. Issuing the golden guns to players who purchase will bring people back to BF2 If they have the golden guns that are hard to get. Even though it took me a long ass time to earn the guns I think it should be allowed. I hate saying that people should be able to buy it. At the same time, it's a good idea and it will help make the server popularity rise again, by making people happy. Their are only a few select people that have the special golden guns and most of the time they give up trying to earn them half way. Why not sell them to make the server more interesting and popular? What do you guys think?

Memos - Then that means they must buy admin every month to get the awp thats not gold. Buying a golden gun would and should be a one time payment of 10$ or something. What do you guys suggest?

i think it would be good in a way but it could also ruin the mod itself i would make others pay like 10$ for admin + all the golden weapons for it because not everyone would want to see a golden weapon infront of theyre screen each time they play :p

im confused. whats the difference between the golden awp and regular awp
if you had admin; you can just give yourself $5000 and buy an awp o.o

well i dont think that will attract masses of people...sure a couple but not that many
instead if you really wanna boost server....maybe lower requirements??
especially cuz if ppl are just buying the guns then ppl earning it will most likely get frustrated because they grinded so long to get it

I think it might piss off some of the regulars who worked their asses off to actually earn the badges, but we can try it and see how it goes.

Lower the amount of kills/requirements required for the gun.

Such as the golden awp, 14000 sniper kills? Are you serious? Why not lower that to something like 500? No one's going to use a scout for 14000 kills unless if you go on everyday and use a scout 24/7 on any map.

I was thinking for BF2 - lower the requirements by a LOT, then reset stats every month, and the top player at the end of each month gets free admin for a month. Not sure exactly how to judge it... PROBABLY would need to take the bots off the csstats calculation.

lower the requirments for badges but dont get rid of the bots it wouldnt be too popular then i think its good if everything gets a chance to get the oprotunity to get expert badges id say once the population of the server hits a certian ammount of people restart the top15 like 5000-6500 people

lower the requirements a bit for SMG and Sniper just cuz its a real turn off for people (ppl play fps because its fast paced and more immediate which is opposite of the grinding for the experts of SMG and Sniper)

I agree. The SMG and SNIPER badges are way too much of a challenge.

Its not 14000 kills for the sniper lolwin. Its 10000.

Smg is 7000 and the sniper is 10000

still alot lol

that would suck for all the peope who played alot just to earn these things
then again it would probably be good for the server
but the bf2 server is almost always populated anyways

i still say it would ruin the server

In terms of attracting more people yea it would be a good idea but it will only attract people who actually care if their gun is golden or not. Personally i'd rather earn mines, besides that's the whole reason i'm in the server anyways. Just my opinion tho . I approve this idea
