Is there a way to have a comment about no spawn killing come up at the bottom of the screen every 5 minutes or so? I told one person today that it is against the rules. and then someone else comes over and does it and i told them the same thing and they pretty much said who cares and was like who do you think you are. i would have kicked him but i dont have admin. definitely going to have to get this to help police it.

the only reason people spawn kill is because they don't have self discipline

well, camping and spawn camping are two different beasts. while regular camping gets annoying, it's actually a "strategy" if you will. spawn camping, however, is just totally advantageous to the other team

That was never re-implemented after the server change.

I just bound "NO SPAWN KILLING/CAMPING ALLOWED" to my f3 key. Perhaps all pcshoppers should do as such and that way we can flash it whenever need be.

spawn protection, use it. it stays for i think 5 seconds or until you fire your weapon or change weapons.

the problem is that the so call spawn protection doesnt work on me when i dont fire nor change

it works. youre probably switching weapons which turns it off as well as shooting.

Well i think certain maps can be excluded from the spawn killing rule #1 you can't expected all of the maps the be excluded if their to small #2 there are certain maps that have a flag near or around the spawn point that need to be captured #3 The rule should read Stay Out Of Spawn there are a few people who like to hang around spawn shooting at you thinking they are going to have advantage cause their in spawn and think they can kill you while they are their.....well guess what.... that's called Spawn Camping and i bet your the first person complaining about being spawn killed.

even if we tried to tell players to not spawn kill on snow...most of them wont listen because they're gonna say that other people are doing it and why cant they. so it'll end up being in a arguement about spawn killing and blah blah blah...

aside from spawn killing, i really think some rules should be agreed upon, eg no racial slurs, no offensive sprays/names, etc. and should be put up on a list that shows up occasionally on screen or at least get a /rules command
