COD MW2 Server Discussion

Yeah, I haven't heard back from Tirant, So I'm not going to personally condone donations as I'm not 100% sure it will keep the server up. But if others of you out there believe thats how the server works I'd love to see it stay up as well. I asked him also about people buying admin so hopefully I'll hear back soon. maybe if enough people show interest to him he'll change his mind...

EDIT: I tried other mw2 servers and they aren't just right
I mean they are HORRIBLE

Sorry that took forever (small intro / back ground post first)

Secondly in relation to this topic:

1) The server's aren't coming down.
2) We have enough money for the servers as right now
3) I will pay for the server myself if I had to (it's what i've done for the last few months [might not have been here forum presence wise, but I have been funding pcshop eventhough most of you didn't know that I guess lol {you're welcome}]) lol.
4) I'll be around for a lot of things now finally. So any qusetions / comments you can shoot to me and I'll be able to fix things or answer your questions.
5) Tirant will get around to finishing MW3 when he gets time. I know tirant and his mods are pretty much all he cares about, so if there's something that is keeping him from doing them, it must be pretty big.
6) About the hackers, I will def try to watch / view demos from now on when I get the time.
7) It's good to be back in the saddle

ALSO:

1) I have access to the server account and funds.
2) Yes all donations go directly into the server acct.
3) There won't be any worries about anything server side now that I'm back. I can handle it.

Welcome back Anon! I know I for one appreciate have someone in charge around so we don't have to guess at stuff... ^^ all noted and good to know.

1 other thing thats been killing me when server goes back up? /spec pleease? I'll buy it if I need to but I think it should be enabled for whole server. People stack teams by spamming retry anyway and this way if someone is accused of hacking (which happens to me and others from people that don't fully understand the mod or are trolling) they can just /spectate and be directed to forums and no more in game arguments woo hoo!

Thanks for verifying that ANON. If you guys are worried about the server going down just click the donation link and the money will go STRAIGHT to the server account. As always it will be much appreciated and NEVER forgotten!

I don't even remember the original post, but support your community. Don't post titles like that. When new people join the forum that's their latest post.... You should delete this thread.

This thread originated because I got word from an admin the server was going away for good...

Anon any word on spectate for either me or the server?

Also I vote for new maps!! Is that possible? or will the next thing to come out be MW3 mod??

I will add the /spec thing when I get back from the holidays (tonight or tomorrow) because I'm tired of people complaining and I think it would just be easier for everyone involved.

Also on the new maps side, I will def try to get some new maps up now that i'm back at my computer. Gotta get back into botting and what not so the bots are correct and that all takes time but it shouldn't be too long.

Also, I'll try to find a decent voteban votekick plugin and try to get it running in the server so when there's no admins around and hackers / trolls you guys will be able to at least temporarily do something.
