i was AFK! reason should be "for being AFK" i went downstairs to make some food come back up to find myself banned can u do this?

on top of that people that know me know i always try as a zombie why wouldnt i? i get credits for dieing so i always try. ban length is 2 hours w/e but i just wanna know if u can ban someone for being afk wouldnt that be just a kick?

It's 2 hours, grab a drink, watch some TV, come back and play.

Zombies standing around with there thumb up there ass is at a all time high!! :O I have been much less patient with zombies not trying or going afk. Cause people only go afk when they are T and i rarely see you or anyone go afk as ct. People that already know the rules and doing this pisses me off the most.

I am suggesting if you need to walk away from the comp for more then a minute (like get something to eat) log out while you are away. Then i do not see you standing around and do not have to kick/ban you with the other zombies not trying.

If some one is not getting the point or following the rules they know i feel a ban is always appropriate. Some things need bigger bans then others. Obviously this is not a big ban offense but will happen again if i see it again.

I ban them for 5 minutes myself, but whatever you wanna do is fine with me. Kick/5 Mins. I agree with you...I always have to say 'stop freejumping' when the kids know the rules. -.-

I ban when kicking is not getting my point across. I know going afk is a minimal offense but but when you kick someone a dozen times and they are not getting the point it is time to bring out the ban hammer. And i will always bring out the ban hammer if some one is not getting the point. Especially when it is some one i know knows the rules. It only takes two clicks to log out if you got to walk away from the comp and that is what people need to start doing or they risk being banned.

Most the time people do not care about being kicked cause we are giving them what they want. Not to have to try as zombie. And they especially like it when they get a extra round as ct cause they were kicked.

They wanna be afk i will give them the time to be afk.

OO and slut i rarely ban for less then 30 minutes but i make sure i give enough warnings that i do not feel bad about it. It is a lot cause i use ban menu and there is no 5 minute option lol.

well yeah if you have to excessively do it then temp ban... other then that kick... and as for they like to be CT move them to T so they have to play if they dont like it they can leave

Ban menu doesn't work for me for some reason.

Remembering back to the Jailbreak days when I could use it...I remember accidently perm banning a friend by missclicking a number. I couldn't unban him; I felt so bad. lol. Never trust them menu's. -.-

I know they command but find the menu a lot quicker and more convenient. I use the command when i wanna bane for a time not in the menu (more then 2 days without perm ban).

I got it,re-read the rules and I missed the part about being "afk" so i guess in a ways its bannable, I only posted this up because of the reason, I dont want people thinking I don't try and I free jump because I don't. Won't happen again, unless out of the blue someone throws a molotov threw my window.

If some one is afk or free jumping while zombie give them a few slaps to wake up, then if they are still afk or free jumping wait till the round ends then transfer them to zombie side again and explain why you did it. If they are truly afk (like being afk while ct as well, just leave them afk as ct and let the zombies shred them to pieces. The only time i would kick an AFK is if the server is full and it rarely ever is. The reason for this is I keep afk's in the server cause low numbers draw little people. If you see a server with 1-2 people in it you don't want to join, but 3-4 and you got the chance of more joining after you join yourself. I hope this makes sense..
