Educating and warning

I think admins in BB need to start making sure players know the rules and warning them before banning them. We are trying to populate the server and a good amount of the time people just do not know the rules and are willing to follow them once they know them. Banning especially perm ban is extreme unless a bass is destroyed or there is a hacker. Or if you have told someone something and you know they know the rules and even then perm ban is a bit much. most the time banned for a hour 2 hours or a day is good to make the point. But we need a little more patients in BB and i think that will help and keep more of a population.

should be the steps followed into enforcing rules .. not PERM BAN with no warnings or anything..kinda dumb

also i dont continiuosly warn people...they break a rule next day they do it again i be more aggresive and so on so forth till they get the point

I agree if you know that the person knows the rules steps should be skipped cause there is no excuse from there.

True! at the same time, I'd like to point out that when there are no admins in-game, many players deliberately and knowingly break the rules. 95% of the players are repeat players.

While I'm at it... every now and then I spot a player typing "/rules." Perhaps it would help to post the rules up where the PCSHOP banners are. I know for most maps there are 2 banners, (I'm sure you guys would like to remind players they're in PCS server) SO perhaps one could be used for posting the rules. OR perhaps they could be added in t spawn so everyone can read them while they're waiting for 2 minutes. Nobody reads the "ok" screen when they join a server

That is what i do. Only person ive perm banned was K3AN for before you came back ive kicked him at least 3 time with about 5 warnings b4 the kicks, banned him for 30 minutes, banned him for 7 days. I know he knows the rules for he yells at EVERYONE that breaks them. He broke another rule so he was perm banned.

Personally: I'm a person whom gives continuous warnings. Honestly, I only perm banned one kid. that was back in the oldschool JB.

i would like to see people get educated more on rules as "new blood" in the server IE first timers to our servers probably havent found their way to the forums to see our rules...

Your the ban manager. If you think my bans are unfit. Simply unban them or give them the correct ban duration. You know my ways.
Spectate
Warning or BuildBan or Kick after 1x rule break
Ban or Perm Ban after 2x or 3x rule break

I try to stay as silent as possible. Evidently, people will always spam the rules when they see someone in a unfair area. So I just wait and spectate them doing it for 2x or 3x times. Most time, they'll break rules only when they see no admin on. Thus why staying quiet and letting it come to a simple conclusion.

the ammount of warnings and the generous amount of kicking is determined by the admin. from my understanding, an admin needs to warn, nothing about mutiple warnings. so if im in a bad mood you get one warning and after that warning u break w/e im warning you again after 5 seconds then i will kick with a reason and warning in the reason. they come back and continue then i will either kick again saying next offence ban (being yet another warning in the reason) or just ban for a few minutes... like 30... after their ban time is up if they continue it would go to a 10k minute ban probably but it only had to go to that length twice which was when i first started playing in BB. since then its just been 30 minutes. (not counting the K3AN incident)
