Did he make a new bb server based off tirants mod, and jack half the population from our server just by adding 250 hp to every class? lol.

It seems as though everyone in PCShop hates him and his friends, so I sold him a copy of the mod so that he can start up his own server and run it himself. Assuming everyone here actually does hate him and is tired of dealing with him, then this should be mutually beneficial. I personally have never had a problem with him, I'm doing this based off of other peoples comments about him.

you have never had any problem with him cause you are the head LOL, but his friends and himself were a pain in the ass.

I never ran into any issues with him either, but as Tirant said this seems like the best solution. When I talked to CAM he himself said that he is tired of being targeted so often for everything. Sure some of the people he appointed turned out to be bad admins, but he never meant it that way.

He picked people who played BB a lot and were active and gave them admin to entice them to stay. Reality is that not everyone was happy with that arrangement so I agree this is the best way to move forward.


On another note, PCSHOP members who play BB now have to actually try and recruit new people to join our server, because I would guess our population will go down. Play random servers. People recognize our name, talk to them, and suggest they check out our server or even our site.

This reminds me of the little purge we had at the beginning of the year. Everyone's happier because the "problem" is gone, but no coin is one sided. Though they annoyed many PCSHOP members, you can't say that they didn't bring more people to our server. I'd hate to see BB become even less populated because of this.

In short: Everyone has to put in effort to increase our population and the continued success of BB, and especially those who wanted this to happen.

Does this mean Cam is no longer admin in base builder?

This is an excellent idea, just make sure you don't advertise our SERVER IP in servers as it's usually against the rules. if they want info or a server IP add them to your friends list and PM them or whatever..

Just make friends and bring them here. Also target people who are unaffiliated with a clan as prospective PCSHOP members. My fraternity just had a great year rushing freshman so I may be getting some of this from that mindset. One way or another it's a good mindset, though it seem like too much. Honestly though we aren't going to expand and get better by just sitting around and waiting for Tirant to code the next Counter Strike.

Process:
Find some cool sounding noob (fewer accents we can't understand and 7 year old trolls)
Befriend him
Introduce him to your friends
Invite to our servers (notice this shouldn't be in your first few interactions with these nubs. Its like awesome on 3 different levels if they ask for our server info. Make them wait for it instead of telling them about our servers so early.)
Suggest they check out the forum

LAWL 7 year old troll but anyways i have seen the basebuilder server and kinda like it and Maybe in my opinion i think tirant should go to the bb server and fix it up higher fps smoother moveing pieces you know?

The thing im sure their base builder lacks is fair play. They have "adminS" and "SGs" that have a history of bending/breaking rules and being unfair to their players. With that they cannot run a good server IMO. It wont last long. Not unless they play fair.
