    Most of the dj's that win are "underground mainstream." There are a bunch of amazing dj's that I listen to that put there music on beatport that don't even get recognized.

    Yea i was looking at dubstep for example and Caspa is good but nowhere as good as hooky, who as far as I know is unheard of.

    Tbh, alot of those "Best DJs" were quite predictable and like Strawberry said, they are mainstream, and I think most ppl would agree with me when I say underground trumps mainstream. Don't get me wrong, Deadmau5 and Caspa are badass, but there are many other DJs that deserve more recognition.

    Skrillex, Vaski, Caspa does have good shit, Rusko, Downlink, but Skrillex has probably the sickest beats, he's relatively new to the dub world tho.
