More often than not, there are zombies who just hang out in the CTs base and dont kill the CTs nor do the CTs kill the zombies. If this happens, do we give a warning and then kick? Or just immediate kick? It annoys me and it ALWAYS happens. Players should do their objectives. If it were me, I'd say to give it an auto boot. What about you guys?

Re: Players not doing objective
As a server guard u give 3 warnings if they dont listen after those 3 warnings u can kick them, if they come back and do it again Slay them as ct the next round, and if they do it after that ban them for 30-45mins if they still havent learned the lesson give them a weeks ban after than ban is over, perm them if it ever happens again

Re: Players not doing objective
Just give them 1 warning, slay them if they don't do as you say/do it again. Make sure they read what you said. lol @ killer_lord...Honestly, I just tell them to leave the base several times and follow through. I'm kind of too fair... T_T

Re: Players not doing objective
It's called freejumping it's against the rules but it's not an obvious rule. Make sure they read your message that's the most important part. As an admin you can be warning them consistently but if they don't receive the message you might as well not be saying anything.

Re: Players not doing objective
I wrote about this problem in my thread.
Those players don't even deserve any warning. Players that do that are friends on steam that "help eachother out." They know the objective is to kill the CTs. I don't know PCS admin guidelines for rule break situations, but it's against the rules no doubt. If I were you, I'd just straight 1 hour ban them both as a 1st time offense. - but of course with a demo as proof of rule breaking.

Re: Players not doing objective
Warnings should always be given unless you know the person breaking whatever rule already knows them. Slaying is a very affective tool and if used right can piss people off. It is not often I find a need to ban people especially if you slay them as CT a couple times
I suggest making a bind that sends a message directing ppl to the forum server rules for if people qq about being slayed.
As far as dealing with zombies camping in bases warn them slay them and move. They will get the point.

Re: Players not doing objective
Well, as far as I'm concerned you can do two things: 1) Auto boot if you feel the need or 2)slay then warn while you got their attention lol. Don't kid yourselves, these kiddies know the rules, and they block zombies for them so they can get kills.
IMO: I usually auto slay / boot depending on the mood I'm in. It gets the point accross real fast. Screw the warnings (before slaying or booting) imo because it's so obvious that you're supposed to Kill the CTS not stand in the door way as they shoot over your head at your teammates.
Feeeeel free to slay/boot/or temp ban (20-60 mins), whatever you feel is necessary and if Anyone QQ's... you're a SG and they're not. And if you need more than that, tell them if they have a problem, come take it up with me here on the forums

1. Give them a warning.
2. If they don't listen, slay.
3. If they do it again, kicked.
4. If they come back and still do it again, BAN HAMMER!

Re: Players not doing objective
slaying first after warning is the best option because if they didnt get the warning they will ask why they were slayed and will actually have to talk to the admin who slayed them and will get the warning. i dont know if you guys get the point

Re: Players not doing objective
Okay so we all clearly agree that people in the servers have to be playing instead of just waiting out the round they don't want to play. Freejumping is against the rules and we all know it.
Now some admins prefer to simply kick those that are are freejumping/afk.
Others prefer to give a warning or slay to find out if the person is actually afk or is aware of the rules. I subscribe to this opinion, but there have been times where I just kick a whole slew of freejumpers if my patience runs thin.
We keep debating this back and forth but there is really only one point:
As an admin, the absolute worst thing you can do is alienate a potential regular to the server. That is to say, it's obviously okay to kick people who break the rules, but if the way you do it is hurting PCSHOP then your admin will be short lived.

Re: Players not doing objective
^^
Possibly.
I'm not going to remove someone's admin because ppl come to the forums and complain about getting kicked bc they were free jumping. I'll just tell them well that's you're fault isn't it? lol.
Srsly thou. Point of the topic is: 1) Warn free jumpers with slay/slay/text or 2) Just kick them and when they rejoin, then warn them.
Either way is fine with me, but I generally type Stop free jumping once, and that's it. After that, I just kick people. But IMO it really depends on the circumstances as well as the admin.
I would most generally say warn first, then kick/slay whatever. But not to say that that is the universal solution for every situation. Use your better judgment bc admin abuse won't be tolerated. (Although not to say that kicking fjers is admin abuse. But just don't empty the server lolz.
