so the bf2 server sucks now

most of the newer maps suck and arnt made for fucking bf2 deathmatch
having three bots per team sucks ass it seems as if less people are playing there with less bots being there
its boring as hell because of the above reasons
the registry in the new server sucks more ass than in the last server
the bf2 server seems to be dieing

Yea it's a problem I've been noticing and am not a fan of, so that's why we're having a PCSHOP BF2 TRIPLE EXPERIENCE WEEKEND for those of you who managed to miss every other notice that it's going to happen.

Hopefully this event will help the server but only if it's successful. What we need for it to be a success:

1. A good server (meaning good reg)
2. PCSHOP members playing in the server but not filling it up - please take a minute to think about this.
3. Positive admin presence and other minor stuffs

Frankly, the point of this event is not for you guys to have fun, it's to draw people in. I'm trying to spread the word as much as possible to people outside of PCSHOP and that's what you all need to do too. I'm going to be in Canada and drunk so I won't be able to help much but please everyone put a lot of effort into this event in order to revive this great server.

What will happen following the successful event:
Noobies will get hooked and keep coming back
PCSHOP members will go back and play since it won't be as boring anymore.
server will be full 24/7 and we'll expand

Stuff to do after event in order to ensure long term success:
mini-events like trivia and giving out exp, it doesn't have to be announced just gomer or dave go in and make people happy

yeah good luck with that in order for people to even care about the triple xp weekend the server needs good reg the server needs people to shoot so you can get xpand the maps have to not suck so much gl with getting all this to happen and even if it did attract people would probably be people that have already played in the bf2 for a while and theres no room for newer players to join in because the server only has 18 slots i doubt it will even get more than 12 people though

gomer instagates fights with server regulars just because they think his dickhead for a cusin hacks i could probably go on and on with all the problems with the bf2
being a server lead he should be a little more responsible than that

I agree with sirv about the slot issue.
Having a triple xp weekend isn't going to draw many players once they see there's only going to be a maximum of 17 other players in there with them, not to mention the fact that teams are very often stacked. Me and strawberry were victims of a 3-round massacre on cs_bikini because we were versing a team of 4 admins on the CTs. This also causes ppl to leave. Basically, we're doing more things to make people leave than to make them wanna come in and play.

Well the reason we have a smaller slot server is because it's never full. If admins create an environment that people want to play in (fair teams, don't let people stack, and for fuck's sake don't stack themselves) then people will play and when they do > we get a bigger server.

It's kind of a bummer that the server's smaller and that some of the new maps are terrible (boe_hydro is like a 25 minute download, rats lags like balls, etc.), but I am stoked on the trip xp weekend. The only thing that really needs to happen is improving the reg. It's brutal. Dump a magazine into someone and maybe 5 shots register.

Oh yea we can't have any shit maps on the server this weekend that's a definite.

dave de_boe_faction(or some shit like that) should be added to the scrim server

bf2 is also just getting boring (imo) b/c hit the limit....no new people....and problems above
oh and b/c theres a lack of things to do in the server...ie buy stuff and lvl up

Maybe we can consider expanding the rpg aspect of it... that is what got me hooked. In fact I'm still in the rpg process with only like 2800 sniper kills. I'm running around everywhere with a scout like I got my head knocked off.

alot of good ideas, and it seems like were constantly trying to improve BF2 but it always goes sour soon after. I would like to see better reg and the newest maps that ive played are pretty bad. Hopefully this weekend it will change though

heres my only suggestion bfsuit each 5k if u die u lose it and make the bots hard as possiable

bfsuit isnt even on the server anymore and bots hard as possible will make ppl not want to play

that isent stopping mang and others that love killing bots now is it?

Here's a great suggestion MAKE THE BOTS BETTER! make them atleast shoot better or sumthing its like im playing a afker.

1 at 80%
1 at 50%
1 that plays like Reis (2%)

so on and so forth
