[PCSHOP] Forum Rules

General Rules:

• While debate is encouraged, treat people with respect. No racial, sexual, or other types of attacks against other forum users.
  
• Do not troll. Do not reply to a thread just to say it's stupid.
  
• Do not spam. SPAM = Short, Pointless, Annoying Message. This is slightly relaxed in the Off-Topic Section.
  
• Do not advertise non-[PCSHOP] servers.
  
• Do not revive topics over 2 months old (excluding Forum Games).
  
• Do not excessively swear. It is tolerated but only to a certain extent.
  
• Do not mini-mod. We have a great staff whose job is to punish those who break the rules. However, we encourage people to PM the staff about any problems related to the boards.
  
• Do not discuss illegal activities including piracy and drugs.
  
• Do not post pornographic or gory material. This is not a sick adult site; it is a community for all ages.
  
• Do not post referral or blatant advertisement topics.
  
• Do not impersonate admins, mods, or other members.
  
• Do not use racial/derogatory slurs of any kind.
  
• Do not make secondary accounts. If you would like your account to be changed for any reason, PM an admin and we will try to change it for you.
  
• Do not reply to a topic regarding hacking by simply saying "yea that was was suspicious." Only post if you have evidence or serious concerns to contribute.
  

If you break any of these rules, you will be warned. Continued offenses will result in a temporary ban. If bad behavior continues, you will be permanently banned from the forums. There will be no appeals after the Permanent Ban has been executed, so don't ask to be unbanned or make a new account.

Signature & Avator Rules:
A signature is a quick ending to your posts, don't make it too long.
Do not use excessive images in your signature. 2 is more than enough.
If you want text in your signature, keep it within 5 lines. Use spoiler tags or make a new topic if you want people to read a wall of text.
Limit the size of your images to 300px vertically.
Keep the images and content of your signature PG-13.

Etiquette/Conventions:
Use English.
Spell properly. Let people understand you. Use correct grammar.
Do not double post. The Edit button is there for a reason.
Don't post in all caps. It's irritating, and it doesn't help get your point across.
Always make your topic title as descriptive as possible. Many people scan for what looks the most important.
It is your responsibility to know the rules at all times keeping in mind they are subject to change.

Community Rules:
The tag is [PCSHOP], not anything else.
You must wear the tag at all times in our servers unless you are looking for haxors.
You may be a part of other communities and clans but you still must wear our tag in our servers.
Make a reasonable attempt to be active in-game and on the forums.
To become a veteran member, you must have been part of the community for a year.
Respect each other and the authority of those trusted with higher positions.

Please read carefully to avoid confusion.

Try to stay on topic at all times. Try not to drift off topic during a thread conversation. Please don't join in with off topic discussion even if others are. Instead, try starting a new thread and linking to it. Off topic posts may get deleted, and threads that really get out of hand will be closed.

Post similar questions together. If you have several questions, it's better to ask them all in the one thread rather than create additional threads to ask each within. Make use of the edit feature in your post to add more information.

Try not to post duplicate threads. Use the [ Forum Search ] to check if the topic you wish to post exists in the Forum already - it's very possible someone already asked your question! [ Forum Search is located in the top right of every Forum for convenience. ]

Use short, concise thread titles. When posting a new thread, it's a good idea to use a short, yet informative title, so it is not too long and other Visitors to the Forum know what your thread is about.

Try not to double post!. If you post additional identical replies/posts by mistake pm your Forum Mod. Where you need to add more information on to your original reply, click edit at the bottom of your post and add more to it, instead of clicking Reply and creating two replies.When you would like address a certain topic simply click the add reply on that topic.

No offensive, insulting, profane or vulgar remarks are allowed. This also applies regarding comments about other people who do not frequent the site.

Do not impersonate other Visitors. Trying to pretend to be someone else on the site, including Staff, is not allowed, because firstly you'll be bad at it and secondly you will be punished!

Do not spam. Under no circumstances are you allowed to spam anywhere, within any Forum this includes the shout box. If you are caught spamming any forum, you'll be in trouble!

Do not use other accounts to break any of the Forum Rules. Please do not attempt to break rules as another Visitor or Unregistered Guest [ Unwashed Heathen ] for the purpose of anonymity to avoid punishment. All Moderators and Site Staff can find out who you are if they need to!.

Do not attempt to break Rules as an unregistered Member. Unregistered Members, or Unwashed Heathens, can also be identified using the same means to identify registered Members, and repeated abuse and rule breaking as a Guest will result in trouble! So don't go clicking Log Out to cause trouble - you can still be tied to your account!

Do not create additional registered accounts to bypass an issued ban. Trying to get around a ban using secondary/additional member accounts will result in a permanent banishment of all binding accounts from which you have created.

Pornographic content is not permitted on this Site. Young Visitors frequent this Site due to its basis as a Games Information Network, and should not be exposed to adult material. This includes the provision of links to source material, or the posting of pornographic text or imagery anywhere on the Site. So keep all of those "special pictures" to yourself, noone wants to see them here!

Do not advertise other websites. Advertising through posts is strictly forbidden. This may only be done through your personal Profile, Custom Title or Signature.Do not post any links to raise traffic Advertising another website through PM to unsolicited Visitors who you are unknown to, in an attempt , is also not permitted. Members who link to any other type of referral site will lose posting rights on their account permanently.

Do not use inappropriate avatars, custom titles or signatures. Using any of these site provisions to show sexual imagery or text, profanity, religious, social or personal slandering is a serious offence.

Do not pose as an Administrator or Moderator. Visitors to the Site who are not recognised Administrators or Moderators with full credentials, should not pose as either through the use of Administrator or Moderator in their Member name, avatar, custom title or signature. This includes but is not limited to using the following titles or deviant spellings of admin, Administrator,Server Guard,Staff,and Moderator.
