Randomized Map Rotation

As regular players may have noticed this, the map revolves only around several maps. This is because of the unreliable server host, Gameservers, which causes the server to crash; disabling the server to explore its map rotation. Maps simply boring.
For one simple reason, they're being overplayed. Another, one team sided map.
(de_dust, de_dust2, cs_italy, cs_backalley, de_train, fy_desert_b2, de_aztec, cs_office).

Other maps are hardly played because they are at the end of the map rotation.
(cs_snowbase, cs_1337city_assault, de_inferno, fy_snow, fy_farcry_b1, de_cpl_mill, de_cpl_strike, de_vertigo, cs_ncruins2, de_cbble, de_westwood, de_damage, de_chapter5)

they are only one-sided because people stack the side with an advantage. I actually like most of the maps on the server because each map makes some combinations of classes and perks better

Meh, half of those maps should be taken out of the rotation. As for the 1 sided, i agree with Taylor, people just stack for the easy XP. And not trying to steal the thread here, but a plug-in that makes it where 1 person goes CT it won't allow another person to join CT until there is an equal number of T's would solve this whole problem

I'm working on this. I have a good plugin that I tested last night, but needs some tweaking. I could also disable map voting if you want, or add in advanced voting like Galileo nominations with rockthevote, as long as it doesn't add to the lag.

well currently there is no system for voting for maps unless someone with a lil admin puts up a vote. So yeah RTV would be nice...if it doesn't make the server worse

problem with rtv is only certain maps will be played such as dust/dust2

If you type "nominate de_aztec" then the nominations take prescedence over the random ones. It also does runoff votes if there is a tie, and makes admins worth 2 votes lol.
