What if instead of using any gun to be able to unlock the perks, you have to use certain guns to unlock a certain perk. for example; to unlock the next gun for "recon" you have to use the MP5 to get to the TMP. But don't let the other guns interfere with the process of promotions in that particular perk. TMP to get the M4. etc. and that would be considered "expert recon perk." If they continuously use the same perk like i know that i really like to use the m4.. Do not let the recon kills count for anything else BUT the recon perk.

I like this idea even though I don't play CoD mod much.

lol but some classes dont get upgrades such as specialist and prestiged classes and if that happened you just screwed over my guide

LOL sorry taylor. but no it would be like an addition to yours. You might have to change it a little bit but not a big deal right? and he could simply add some perks and what not to match more guns to make it a longer journey to the end !

well it would allow you to get your rifleman gun upgrades quicker than normal, so if all you care about is lvling up to get perks and the next prestige, then it would be a great idea. as for the specialist class, make it a requirement to have max lvls on all other classes before you can access it.
