Any recommendations? I just found a indie site called Vodo.net, but their movies are low budget to NO budget lol, and completely free to watch and share. The site you recommend here has indie movies that will actually make it to the big screen so they're much better. First movie i found on your site that i'm gonna watch is called 13 Assassins, Looks great!

The list I've sent to several people is as follows, this comes after HOURS of combing the site and I've watch most and they are great...for viewing the movies I suggest a site called LetMeWatchThis its website is www.1channel.ch ; I suggest using putlocker links for viewing, it takes some getting used to to navigate the site but it is all free.

    List:
    Playback
    Vanishing on 7th Street
    Good Neighbors
    The Perfect Host
    12 Assassins
    Square Grouper
    The Innkeeper
    Goon
    Melancholia
    I Melt With You
    The Hunter
    Outrage
    Blackthorn
    The ABC's of Death
    Tucker and Dale vs Evil
    The Last Circus
    Bangkok Knockout

    ENJOY!!!!

    Playback < I won't waste my time.
Vanishing on 7th Street < very interesting premise, will watch.
Good Neighbors < Won't waste my time.
The Perfect Host < Seen this along time ago, Good movie.
12 Assassins < Can't wait to find this movie with English subs, and it's 13 assassins, not 12.
Square Grouper < A must see, can't wait to watch.
The Innkeeper < Cmon seriously?! Won't waste my time.
Goon < Looks pretty funny, will watch.

Melancholia < looks ok, similar to "Another Earth" which was just a love story at it's core.

I Melt With You < very intriguing trailer.
    The Hunter < looks promising
Outrage < A movie about Yakuza!!?? Hell ya i'ma watch this.
    Blackthorn < Looks real good.
The ABC's of Death < lol to weird and cheesy for me.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil < this looks hilarious.
The Last Circus < Hmm oddly intriguing, Will watch.
Bangkok Knockout < Non stop dramatic fighting scenes? eh maybe.

The one's i said i wouldn't waste my time on are thrillers more or less, and thrillers don't work for me.
Scary movies stopped scaring me when I was like 10yo, which sucks, I love a good thrill.

haha, well the ones i said u didnt wanna watch arent actually that bad and might surprise u, the good neighbors has a great twist, and playback is worth a 1 time watch, and the innkeepers is def worth a 1 time watch its better than most those stupid horror movies that get put out now Smile but yes its a great little list of movies and some even made it to mainstream theatres like goon and melancholia and i melt with you

Post by 5150kaboom on Sat 10 Mar 2012, 2:22 am

Ehh I can't watch those movies I'm tellin' ya! i very much despise thrillers, they all suck, except for the really good ones like "Se7en", "CopyCat", or more recently "the girl with the dragon tattoo".

As for horror flicks, Forget it! like i said i stopped getting scared by movies along time ago.I just watched vanishing on 7th street and it pissed me the fuck off. Who do i see about getting 2 hours of my life back!? I thought it was gonna be like sci-fi or something, not shadows chasing people, soo lame..

I watched "the last circus" being fooled by the trailer into thinking it was a war story, but it was more of a love/gore story, Which was well put together actually for a killer clown gore movie. I hate those movies even more than thrillers, the gory films that is. They're so pointless. But "The last circus" IMO was done with class. If someone where to ask my opinion of it I would def recommend they watch it.

Watched Goon, was pretty damn funny, Someone should recommend that to Dave to watch lol, he's into hockey.

    Watched Blackthorn, was pretty good.

Watched Tucker and Dale, Pretty funny.

And i don't think those movies with the twists would surprise me tbh, it's easy to make a huge twist when it leads to a lame ending. Hitchcock was the king.... and there hasn't been a Hitchcock since, like not even a good comparison, no one.

Have you ever seen "City of God"?

God, and then the part in the beginning when he laughs to himself and is staring at her holding the scythe.

I liked pearl harbor for the love story and music. I thought of saving private ryan but didn't put it down for mine. I also liked the two that clint eastwood did.

Come to think of it you know what else was really good, "The Last Samurai".. I thought "tom Cruise?.. phht ya right.." And one of my buddies was like "nah du' it's actually dope" And it was most impressive. Very bad ass Samurai film.

Clint was the best in the old-western stuff, "the good, bag, ugly" and "hang 'em high" are my favs. And "fist full of dollars" is cool too. You ever heard of "They call me Trinity"? Clint's not in it but Bud Spencer is, =D a real funny old western.
