Post by Anon on Wed 25 May 2011, 11:50 pm

So, I know we have another couple topics about sc2 but eh... I don't care lulz.

I just wanted to get your guys opinions on if it's worth the 60 bucks at walmart or not. I almost picked it up the other day, but decided against it. Figured I'd as you guys first lol. Oh and don't worry I'm gonna get d3 when it comes out as well so I wont have to save $$ for that.

    BTW: pc specs:

    3.2ghz single core
nvidia 8600 pic-e (correct me if I'm wrong ki [we hva ethe same gfx card lulz])
    4gbs ddr2 ram
    windows vista 32 bit

Anyhow, any input is welcome Smile

I currently have it because my brother & I use to play a lot but hes in university currently and unable to play. On a scale 1 to 10, I'd probably have to say an 8.

The game itself (Mechanics, Thought, etc.) is very well planned out, You can't deny the fact that Starcraft one, AND Starcraft two are amazing games.

I enjoyed the campaign so much that I finished it in 1-2 days straight (Pulled an all nighter). Had different campaign ideas than WC3 and any other blizzard type of game. Campaign is a 10/10 for me. Although I do wish it was longer but since I guess I did pull a gaming rampage, it was a tiny short because of what I did.

The only reason I rated it a 8/10 overall is because of the online gaming is in its early stages and most maps that people make are unbalanced, lame, or really laggy for me (Probably because I've been procrastinating on cleaning my inner computer full of dust for about 3 weeks, AND my computer is 2-3 years old).

Now, The RTS style I love, and to tell you the truth, I'm very discouraged from it. (Yeah a love/hate mix). The mechanics and what the objective of the actual RTS is very fun, but the reason I don't play it - Without my brother - is that I keep losing without his guidance which then leads to discouragement, then it leads to me not playing, then leads to no practice then leads back up the flowchart to the original reason of me sucking in general. Most likely my previous sentence didn't make sense, which I tend to have terrible grammar but awesome spelling. (I'm canadian, we differentiate from the USA spelling).

Anyways. 8/10. You should buy it if you love RTS games. If you have the patience for a semi-noob, feel free to contact me and I'd love to play a Melee RTS match with you.

    Very Happy
