i believe the server lead is filled by tirant...

we don't need server leads anymore since there are fewer servers.

However if you want to get your own server you'll ofc be the head (ie Jager JB, Fuzzy/LOLSLUT jB)

Well I added more maps ... mostly default cs ones, and added westwood and repub for starters...

Sorry it's taking so long, I started a new full time job, and am in the process of moving so I have like 0 free time lol. The flags still have the aplha, bravo, and charlie names but it's alright for now. Haven't had time to mess with the flag editor yet... but I'll get there. And the flags on westwood are all named alpha so its slightly confusing but as I said, no time for the flag editor yet, I still have to reinstall meta mod etc on my comp... but I"m getting there lol.


Anyhow, that should help for now.

I tried to add maps this morning... i fucking messaged half the people on my friends list to join me and we had a good time for a bit... but I couldn't get it to work just quite right...

I heard that trying to edit flags crashes everything that'll be a harder fix but it's not much of a problem. Bots, however are a pressing issue, do you know if waypoints were set for all the maps you added?

Ofc they are. I woudln't install them if there wasn't wps

However, there are maps on the server that are installed, but don't have bot waypoints.

All the maps I enabled have wps. If you enabled any (unless you added the wps), those don't.

As I said, I can edit the flags w/o it crashing and add bots easy but i just havent gotten around to it since all of the above stated.

I'll get it soon enough.

Thanks for adding the maps. I was wondering if we could help in someway to do the flag placements and waypoints. Like we could put the same amount of flags and their placements that the old bf2 had them in and then send them to you or Rad?

Silent, waypoints are what tells the bots where to go on a particular map. But how do you do wp's now? Is it still you run paths on a map with a line following where you went?

Yea those maps need to be waypointed. They are in the list so if there's an admin online he can easily switch he map to battlefield_rush or fy_snow... in fact those are the 2 main maps we were playing the other day when I was in there.

Battlefield_rush wasn't used in 09 back when I joined... this week was my first time playing it haha awesome map.

If it hasn't been added I'll check for bf2_castle. Pretty sure the waypoints we had from years past are still enabled. Waypoints just tell bots where to go, you can't have bots without waypoints.

ohh okay that makes sense... so if there are no waypoints the bots just stay in spawn??

True, I stalk. I never got admin for free. I always paid my way for "high admin" status and I was just given the server guard tag in the forums.
