    Default Skin

Some of the text on the site is impossible to read. Would someone be so kind to finally fix the color scheme?

Already did. I thought others were going to fix it but they didn't and I've been working and just now got time to tweak the color scheme. But I got it now.

Oh much better! Thanks Anon Very Happy

The only problem left is something I know has been brought up before: There is practically no contrast between the body of a person's post and the background color. Isn't this white text so much easier to read?

Contrast it with this. Changing body text to white (or light grey) is by far the easiest solution. Changing the color of the background would involve a re-design of the site / a new skin. Though that is my preferred solution in the long-run, experience tells me that we should also consider a short term solution (lighter text).

Yw rad. I also agree there needs to be some contrast, but for whatever reason the font color always glitches back to black no matter what I set it to in the CSS. The preview for the site will be the correct color / style etc, but something in the code somewhere makes it keep glitching to black and I'm not sure why. Only thing I can think of for now would be changing the background color to something lighter, but I like the grey as it's not too entirely bright when people load the page their retinas don't scream in agony if it were a white background lol.

So if anyone can think of anything feel free to post here or PM me.

Are you sure you're setting it in the right place in the CSS?

Is it like the value in the css actually changes itself back to black or are you having trouble finding the right place to change it? I'm in the middle of a web design class and we already covered CSS so I could try my hand at it, but no promises lol.

Maybe a slightly lighter grey for the background? idk
