** Note : The use of quotations is important when typing out the name of a demo to record, or when viewing the recorded demo's.
** To record a demo type "record demoname" in your console (`,~ button).
- Then, type "status" to obtain everyones' Steam ID who is present in the server. VERY IMPORTANT
- Exit console and it will continue recording. When you have the footage you want, go to console and type "stop"
** To post a demo to the forums you must sign up for some kind of file uploading/sharing website and copy the link and post it to the forums. I use the website "http://www.mediafire.com" because it's easy to use and people don't have to wait a few minutes to download and watch demo's. When posting a demo you can use any type of sharing website just as long as you are able to copy and paste a link from the file sharing website for people to download.
** To view a demo through Steam only, type "viewdemo demoname" or "playdemo demoname" In console.
- "Viewdemo demoname" (Recomended) Will let you play, pause, fast forward, rewind, and it will even let you do slow motion.
- "Playdemo demoname" Will allow you only to watch the demo in real time. This means no pause, fast forward, rewind, or slow motion.
- To view a demo you download from someone else, put the demo in this file location: Steam/steamapps/counter-strike/cstrike/demoname.dem
